Cashew Cookies
Maida - 2 ½ cups
Besan - ½ cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Ghee or Vanaspati - 1 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Cashew nuts - 4 Tbsp (minced)
Cardamom Spice Drop - 7 drops or Ginger Spice Drop - 4 drops
Sift maida with besan and baking powder. Beat ghee and sugar together till light and fluffy and add the sifted ingredients, cashew nuts and Spice Drop.
Knead very well. Form into lime size balls and flatten slightly. Place on a greased baking tray. Bake in a moderate oven (170°c) for 15-20 minutes.
Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
